Sorcha Holloway originally trained and worked for many years as a medical doctor. However, her passion for photography could not be denied… It was only a matter of time before her passion became an obsession which could not be satisfied within the confines of a hobby…
Sorcha considers it to be a great honour to be entrusted with capturing those special moments of her clients’ lives, and treats each occasion individually, with enthusiasm and perfectionism… Past wedding clients return for portraiture during pregnancy and with their newborn babies.
A qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Master Photographers’ Association, she lives in Plymouth with her husband and two children. Her husband, Tim, accompanies her at weddings as a second photographer, and this has proven very popular with past clients. Although based in Plymouth, they cover weddings throughout the UK and abroad, with weddings this year in Italy and Ireland.
Sorcha and Tim were delighted this year to reach the finals of the Westcountry Wedding Awards for the second consecutive year, within only three years of launching their photography business. Sorcha has also just won the Master Photographers' Association regional award for thebest "10 Images from One Wedding", and took second place as well! This, again, shows excellent consistency in her wedding work...
